Making Every Contact Count (MECC) - Public Health Wales

The MECC approach aims to empower staff working particularly in health services, but also partner organisations, to recognise the role they have in promoting healthy lifestyles, supporting behaviour change and contributing to reducing the risk of chronic disease.

We are currently developing a series of video and audio assets which will contribute to MECC’s eLearning course on maintaining healthy weight.

Our first day of filming was at Firebug Studios in Barry, where we produced a bundle of pieces to camera as examples of key phrases that clinicians and partner organisations can consider when in conversation with patients.

Scripts are in progress for a number of scenarios due to be filmed at various locations in South Wales.
